The Hub Bar & Restaurant Information

Right in the heart of downtown Centralia, The Hub Bar & Restaurant at 110 S Tower Ave feels like one of those places that locals keep coming back to for a reason. The location itself is hard to miss, sitting along a lively stretch that blends historic charm with a steady flow of foot traffic. Step inside and there’s an easygoing, slightly rustic vibe-dim lighting, wood accents, and a bar that naturally becomes the focal point as the evening picks up.

The menu leans into classic American comfort food with a few elevated touches, and it’s clear that consistency is part of what keeps the reviews positive. Burgers are a standout here, thick and juicy with a good char, often paired with crispy fries that actually taste fresh rather than frozen. On one visit, the bacon cheeseburger came stacked high, with just enough sauce to add flavor without overpowering the meat. The sandwich selection also holds its own, especially if you’re in the mood for something hearty but straightforward.

Drinks are just as much a part of the experience as the food. The bar offers a solid range of local beers, which is always a plus in Washington, along with well-mixed cocktails that don’t feel rushed or watered down. It’s the kind of place where you can settle in for a casual dinner and end up staying longer than planned, especially if there’s a game on or live chatter filling the room.

Service tends to match the relaxed atmosphere. Staff are approachable and quick to check in without hovering, and they seem genuinely familiar with the menu, offering suggestions that feel honest rather than scripted. During busier hours, there might be a slight wait, but nothing that feels out of line for a popular local spot.

What stands out most is how grounded the whole experience feels. There’s no attempt to be overly trendy or upscale-just good food, a comfortable setting, and a dependable place to unwind. While it may not be aiming for fine dining status, it delivers exactly what it promises, and that reliability is often what earns a restaurant its loyal following.

What People's Say About Place

Unassuming exterior but the interior is nicely decorated. Very nice bar area, clean kitchen. Very comfortable, quite so you can have a decent conversation. Our first visit there. Service was pretty good food wasn't memorable. Biscuits and gravy was extra salty the other food eggs, potatoes, sausage was ok Will have to go back to try out the bar some evening. Sits next to the train tracks so you can watch the trains rumble by. Lots of shops to visit near by.

We went after friend recommend Thursday place. I really love wings. I see that Wednesdays they have $1 wings. My husband got the $8 burger meal. He said the burger was good. The fries were OK. I tasted one and they were ok. A bit on the floppy side. The wings had a good flavor but they were the tiniest wings I've ever had. 8 was surprised at the variety of wing sauces you can choose from. Even "Death by chocolate". I hade the Garlic Parmesan. The place has a sit down restaurant atmosphere up front with sports on the TV. That's where we sat. There's a bar area in the back with dimmed lights. You can sit at tables or at the bar there. There was only one woman tending to everyone and she did a great job keeping up with everyone. Overall I probably wouldn't go back. I've had better food, especially wings, elsewhere. All in all, it was OK

This has to be one of Centralia's best diners! The remodel is and the food is magical 10 out 10 recommend. The tachos were amazing and the chicken fried steak is the best one in town and we've tried them all.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic burgers and great atmosphere! We tried The Hub Bar for the first time, and it did not disappoint. The burgers were absolutely amazingly juicy, perfectly cooked, and stacked with huge pieces of bacon and fresh toppings. The fries were perfectly cooked, and the portions were generous. We loved the casual, comfortable vibe, and the service was quick and friendly. The ranch dipping sauce was a nice touch with the fries. Lastly my wife got a Gluten Free Bun and she said the bun was one of the best she has ever had.

Love love love this hole in the wall bar/restraunt. The server was amazing. I think is was “Sheena” not very sure but she was super attentive to our family. Stuck up a conversation like we were family. My kids loved and I loved her. We ordered a lot of food. By the end of it all we were so full. We come up every year for the great wolf lodge, so we will definitely be back making sure Travis and Joe are doing their job on all the weird a wacky but amazing food they make!

Spent $37 for a dozen wings and a beer. Oyster basket i tried to order they didn't have. Couple near me ordered daily special, they got 2/3 of their order and a price reduction because kitchen didn't have enough food to finish the order. Wings were very good but overall I'd only go back if my primary goal was to get drunk and be driven home.

This was our second time visiting The Hub, and I’m happy to say they redeemed themselves! Our first experience wasn’t great and we left before ordering. However, the management reached out and offered to make it right. This time around, the service was fast, friendly, and welcoming. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lively, and the music added to the experience. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely be back. I appreciate their effort to make things right!

This place is great, awesome food, great kids menu, top notch servers. Went with 7 people and all our food was delicious. Only note - rear back on the tot and sweet potato fry cooking. 3 of us got something other than the fresh cut fries and they were COOKED.. but god dang those fresh cut fries were good. Will be back for sure.
